Our Story
Hey there Abundance Seekers, I’m Larry, a recovered debt-oholic, real estate investor, financial consultant, and founder of TheAbundantWallet.com!
About Larry
Growing up in South Florida, I was happiest spending time with family, soaking up the sun, and doing fun activities with friends.
I had quite a few hobbies from basketball to cooking to traveling, and, like most kids, even getting into trouble from time to time.
As life went on, my responsibilities took over and I lost focus on my financial life. I became a father of two wonderful kids, and I enjoyed working in the tech sector as a data analyst (numbers have always been a part of my life). The more time passed, the more I realized that my life was controlling me and my work lost its appeal and was just a means to an end.
It was at this point in my life that I realized how incompetent and inexperienced I had become when dealing with finances.
Although I enjoyed my life, I constantly suffered from debt, keeping up with the bills and working for money. I had a lack of financial priorities.
This led to me racking up $385,000 in debt, feeling intimidated and fearful, and as a result, I started spending more time looking for answers. My spirit was crushed.
Fast forward to 2018 when I made a big life decision. I separated from my ex-wife and made a conscious choice to understand the psychology of money and how to accumulate wealth.
I found that I still had a lot of fears about money from my early childhood and made a lot of bad decisions regarding earning, saving, investing, and growing my money. I was still far from living the lifestyle I wanted for myself and my family.
After much research and lots of trial and error, I felt lost navigating the void of information that existed on the internet. This led me to a realization — that there needed to be a reliable source of information that people facing similar issues could tap into.
Out of that realization, The Abundant Wallet was born. Now, I’ve learned to lead a balanced lifestyle where money is no longer a concern (it’s a focus, but not a concern). I’ve learned to master my money mindset, how to invest intelligently, and let my money work for me.
As a result:
- I own eight real estate properties;
- have a hefty savings;
- am completely debt-free; and
- working on my goal of 10 Million in net worth
Since then, I’ve made a swing of nearly a million dollars, going from $385,000 in debt to a net worth of over $600,000 in liquid and assets.
We now serve thousands of readers looking to get out of debt, accumulate wealth, plan for retirement, conquer their fears, and level up their skills to become smarter and more responsible with their money.
